Sunday 11th September 2022: If I had more time - I'd re-write and re-record this week's message - it is very dense... but your hard work in following will be rewarding I'm sure, as it always is when we give ourselves to reading God's word and hearing it explained and applied. There is a lot in these chapters - but they are fascinating and searching. Samuel's challenge in the final verses of that chapter is a great exhortation for us to note: "consider what great things he has done for you". The more we consider all that the Lord has done for us - especially as WE now know in the Lord Jesus - the more we want to live for him wholeheartedly.
Sunday 14th August: This is the final of three sermons exploring the three words of the catch phrase of our diocesan strategic plan: SHARING JESUS for LIFE. What is meant by Sharing Jesus for LIFE? There is a play on words here - or double meaning. We share Jesus so others might know the LIFE we have found in him. And we share Jesus for LIFE, for the Christian is called to life-long discipleship.
Sunday 7th August 2022: This week's sermon looks in detail at JESUS - the centre of our catch phrase - the centre of our plan. We see from Colossians 1:15-23 that Jesus is central to creation, central to the church and is to be central to our lives.
